Can i eat dips when pregnant




















I still wouldn't touch creamy salads though. If I open a tub of dip, it doesn't last more than one sitting usually. No risk of going manky in my fridge. I'm a dip guts! Cream cheese is fine, eat away. I've been eating them throughout my pregnancy, I never really thought about it. In fact I thought well I can't eat the soft cheeses, cured meats, shellfish and pate but at least I can have the dips. I didn't even want to look at this thread incase ya's all said NO it wasn't safe!

Yes im a pig, no i dont' care. I've read and been told by my midwife that anything cream cheese is fine as long as it has been sealed, stored correctly and in date because it goes through a heat treatment process to "sterilise" it.
